                                                           BELGOROD СITY.
  In August, 1943 during the Belgorodsko-Kharkov operation the Soviet armies have broken through defence of fascist armies, having released Belgorod and Kharkov.
  The decree № 558 «About assignment to Belgorod of an honorary title of the Russian Federation«City of military glory»has been signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 4/27/2007

                                                               KURSK CITY.  
  During fight on the Kursk arch the Soviet Army has broken last large approach of the enemy and has definitively fixed the strategic initiative in the hands.
  The decree № 559 «About assignment to Kursk of an honorary title of the Russian Federation«City of military glory» has been signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 4/27/2007

                                                               ORYOL CITY.
  During the Oryol offensive operation protection of fascist armies has been broken through in advance prepared deeply.
  The decree № 560 «About assignment to the Oryol of an honorary title of the Russian Federation«City of military glory» has been signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 4/27/2007

                                                             The POLAR CITY.
  During the Great Patriotic War the city Polar was the main base of Northern fleet. All war Northern fleet performed operations both underwater, and surface forces from here.
  The decree № 554 «About assignment Polar an honorary title of the Russian Federation«City of military glory»has been signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 5/5/2008

                                                                 RZHEV CITY.  
  Under walls of Rzhev in 1941-43 there was the heaviest fight for all Great Patriotic War.
  The decree № 1345 «About assignment to Rzhev of an honorary title of the Russian Federation«City of military glory» has been signed by the President of the Russian Federation of 10/8/2007
